inbox monsters

My email and voicemail inboxes have grown these rabid, ugly, growling heads and have taken on a haunting menacing life of their own. I would scream and run for my life, but I valiantly swear to respond to each and ever inquiry, request, and friendly hello that's poured in the last... I won't say how long. I'm so grateful and excited that my business has rocket-launched from the word go, *but* it's left me humbled, profusely apologetic, and sometimes even embarrassed that when I'm knee deep in a project or session, I struggle to keep up with the simple important task of immediate/timely correspondence with the rest of the world. Top-notch customer service is very important to me, so I'm looking into some options ((heeelppp!)) so I can start getting back to everyone quickly AND stay on top of sessions, editing, business projects, and family life. In the meantime, for those of you who are patiently waiting to hear from me, please expect an email or phone call shortly. If my responses are not as flowery and shootin'-the-breeze-friendly as usual... just remember that I'm flowery and friendly at heart! This will be the hardest part for me, but until I'm caught up, I've got my serious business face on and will be going for short (polite), concise, and CONQUER :). I can do it.. I think I can, I think I can...
THANKS!

Hey you! I have been thinking alot about you lately and wondering how yo have been. I wish our lives were not sooooo crazy busy that we had time to say hi and chat and play for a while! I miss you and still think about our fun weekend in NM!

Oh I can so relate to what you are struggling with. Have you read the book "Getting Things Done" by David Allen? I just got the audio book on iTunes, it's helpful in organizing your life and business and avoiding things slipping through the cracks :)

I think that its an awesome sign that you are so overwhelmed with inquiries.. hang in there you will get through them all.

Fantastic blog!! I just stumbled across it. I see we have many of the same blogs and you have several of my friends listed in your linklist.

How, oh, how may I add your wonderful little world to my RSS Reader?

i can CERTAINLY relate sister. i started working on mine tonight. sorting the emails, that is. tomorrow begins "catchup." blessings to you! <3k.

I just cleared out mine this morning and I have to say it was so incredibly cleansing. Hope it is sthe same for you as well! :)

funny you sound overwhelmed like me. I have had to put myself on an email schedule and let my friends know I will not be doing the chain emails anymore. You may just need to get your mail sorted and all will improve. You have a wonderful blog.
